Greetings!
Welcome to Casa Del Sol on Anna Maria Island blog, sharing sun-soaked experiences on our favorite isle. One of our favorites was witnessing the most amazing event ever - just down the block by 64th St, a Mama Manatee gave birth to her baby. Wow - what an extraordinary phenomenon of nature!
This trip was fraught with sun-worshiping on our powdery soft beach sand (not hot on the feet like that Jersey Shore); biking - leisurely and competitively; running (gotta increase that lung capacity - we're definitely getting old); tubing and cruising high speed in our rental boat from Cannon's Marina (LBK); coffee stops at the new Village Cafe at Rosedale, and of course our charming local haunt Ginny's & Jane E's where we sip and shop for vintage "chotchkies".
Well that's it.... Doc's calling to lather up and meander into the sand and surf... Until next time....
